A Great Day for Play (by Jake)

What a fun day!!!

First, a ride in the car to my favorite place in the world - the DOG PARK! Love it, love it, love it!

Then some good nap time on the cool tile floor of the porch.

A little lunch.

Then patrolling the back yard for chipmunks and rabbits.

Later, Leo (my neighbor) came over to play.

Now it's time for another nap. I'm too exhausted to even think about dinner.

Welcome to Husky House

Welcome to iHusky 2 - a blog of day-to-day antics occurring in an average Midwestern home occupied by two Siberian Huskies.  One of those being a puppy.

I was asked a number of times whether Jake would have a blog when he became part of the family in March 2010.  My initial response was "no;" that was Juno's "thing."  And Jake's behaviors and adventures during his first 4 months of life were very similar to what Juno had experienced.  I was reliving husky puppydom at 8-12 weeks of age, but didn't expect others to do the same.  I was probably also a little superstitious and wanted to ensure that Jake was healthy and meeting the normal puppy milestones before opening his life to the internet.

So far, all is good.  Jake is a character and has plenty of adventures to blog about.  As does Chloe, his much older sister.  I'm not the only one to re-experience the joys and frustrations of another puppy in the house!

So welcome back! And if this is your 1st visit to our Sibe-blog, thanks for checking us out.  A dog's life is full of fun and humor.
